ABOUT US

Our dynamic has been built on family, loyalty, love, and so many other qualities that make us who we are. Adding Border Collies to the mix only strengthened this dynamic into what it is today. With a matriarch as exceptional and amazing as Lady, our decision to breed her was born out of our great love for the Border Collie breed, and the intimate knowledge of how wonderful these dogs are as both companions and workers.

We believe in breeding responsibly to provide families with the best possibility at having a healthy puppy. The parents of our litters are all health tested prior to breeding to ensure this standard. Brucker Creek farms uses Paw Print pedigrees to complete full-panel border collies on all of our dams and sires. We also complete certified hip evaluations on all of our dams and sires. Our dams and sires are ranch raised, well socialized, and come with full-panel genetic testing. We want our Border Collies placed in happy, healthy homes where they can complete your own family dynamic.

Our lives and our farm would not be the same without our Border Collies. Here are a few testimonials from some of our clients on how their lives have been enriched from the pups they have purchased through Brucker Creek Farms.

“Leela is just a delightful animal, and has a “following” among our friends and the neighborhood — On our walks, we discover people who know Leela by name, who do not even know us!! There is even a lady who walks her older Lab through our block, and never fails to bring along a treat for Leela! Like your Lucy, balls, frisbees, and pretty much anything we can throw out there are her “major passion”. She will fetch on land or in water, and our grandson can keep her busy at this for hours! Yet, when we “older folks” want to log a little evening TV time, she is quite content to bring her bone and loyally lie at our feet. She has adjusted well to our lifestyle, and is a sweet-tempered companion in all situations.”

“Tatum is doing amazing! She is such an awesome dog. She is in agility training already and has been since January and we plan on competing with her in the fall. She is also toy crazy and is almost always carrying a toy in her mouth. She is also so incredibly smart, I can teach her just about any trick in a few min. We have also done some herding with her and everyone that has seen her said she is amazing and I must compete with her. She is a very special girl and has turned out to be everything I hoped for.”

“Penny is such a little sweetie. She has such a sweet, affectionate personality. We have let her into our field with the cattle, when we are of course with her, and her natural instinct to herd is so on point…its incredible. She loves our cats and of course trys to always herd them, and turn them, and stay in front of them. Penny is pretty protective of Evan and I, especially me 🙂 She does this half bark, more like a “buff, buff” when she is alarmed. She is not trusting of strangers at all, which we are ok with. Her potty training turned a corner mid winter, and she will only pittle if she is startled by something now…haha. She is in love with frisbees! We feel beyond blessed to have her in our lives. We are elated with her natural instinct to herd the cows. Not to mention, she is the most beautiful dog. We. Are. In. Love.”

Marvel sure has kept us busy. We’ve been challenged with the quarantine as far as exposure and socialization. However, we are doing very well with housebreaking and at this point Marvel only has accidents when we don’t see her at the door (which is very rare). She is also improving greatly on basic commands. It was very surprising how quickly she adapted, only a day or two and she was at home.
We can tell that she will one day make a very excellent agility dog! Shes already cleared my arm while holding out a toy by surprise.

Brucker Creek Pups are AKC registered and will have their first vaccinations and worming before leaving for their new homes. In the eight weeks from the date they are born through the time they leave with their new owners, all puppies will have constant people interaction to get them socialized and ready for their new homes.

Once you choose a puppy, you can also give us a name you would like to call your pup, and we will begin introducing it to them until they are old enough to join you. We also send weekly pictures and updates on how your pup is doing so you can feel just as involved in the early stages.

Brucker Creek puppies are examined by our veterinarian and given a clean bill of health before they leave for their new homes. You will be given a copy of the pup’s health certificate and a shot record, including information on when the next shots are due.

As much as possible, we like to meet all of our new owners, but shipping is available within the contiguous 48 states for a quoted fee. This fee includes airfare, transportation to airport, crate, health certificate and our puppy starter kit. References from our satisfied customers are available upon request.
